On May 6th, Archie will celebrate his first birthday. With just over a month to go before the festivities, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have already planned everything, according to the Us Weekly news. The Sussex family, who arrived in Los Angeles from Canada a few days ago, want to properly celebrate their baby’s first candle.
They can now count the hours. This Tuesday, March 31, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will officially become former members of the Royal Family and begin their transition to their new lives, as planned with Elizabeth II.
While they first established their new home on Vancouver Island, they packed their bags in Los Angeles a few days ago. In the United States – perhaps for tax reasons – the Duchess of Sussex can thus get closer to her mother but also think about her future, which she imagines more than ever before in front of the cameras.
And if their arrival doesn’t really please Donald Trump, Archie’s parents have no intention of leaving the City of Angels. It is even under the Californian sun, where they are confined, that they are actively preparing their child’s first birthday, which he will celebrate on May 6. According to the Us Weekly news, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have every intention of making this day unforgettable. And what better way to do that than by doubling the festivities? First of all, the Sussex are planning to take advantage of their visit to Balmoral, where Elizabeth II invited them on their farewell tour, to celebrate their baby.
According to one source, the couple “will be celebrating Archie’s birthday in Scotland on Her Majesty’s estate and want to have a picnic there”. The Queen, who has not seen her great-grandson since last summer, is said to be “excited” about the upcoming family reunion.
“Archie loves being outdoors, we can already say that he has inherited Prince Charles’ passion for nature,” continues the insider in the American magazine. He is so excited to see all the trees. Now that he’s walking, he often ends up covered in mud!” And there’s no way the little family can stop on such a good path.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are also planning a party at their home on Vancouver Island, according to the source told Us Weekly. “Meghan’s mom, Doria Ragland, and her best friends, Jessica Mulroney and Abigail Spencer, will be invited to stay with their families for the weekend,” she says.
Apparently very well informed, the Duchess’ relative has even advanced on the gifts Archie will receive. According to him, the Duchess of Sussex is planning to give him a copy of Shel Silverstreain’s The Giving Tree, which was her favourite book as a child, and will bake him animal cupcakes.
“He screams with excitement when he sees horses,” says the source. As for Elizabeth II, she is said to have already set her sights on a “beautiful rocking horse”. Quite a programme!
