Meghan Markle and Harry: that visitor who knows how to put a smile back on their faces.

Confined to Los Angeles for the past month, Meghan Markle, Prince Harry and their son Archie have accepted a special visit for a very special day. But of course, with all due respect to barrier gestures!

Since Meghan’s arrival in the Royal family, the Sussex have always taken liberties with protocol. Megxit has not changed this rebellious habit since, a few days after Archie’s first birthday, when California is in its eighth week of confinement, the Duke and Duchess were visited by Doria Ragland, Meghan’s mother, on Mother’s Day, which this year was held on May 10 in the United States. According to Oprahmag and People, all were attentive to respecting barrier gestures, including physical distancing.

Physical distance but closeness of heart: many sources have revealed that Doria Ragland was “incredibly close” to Meghan and Harry. She had already visited them when they moved to Vancouver earlier this year. It is to her that the Californians owe the involvement of the Sussex in the Angel Food project, an operation that aims to deliver meals to seriously ill people, requiring a lot of precautions in the face of covid-19.

3 Generations for a party

Last year, Meghan was not yet a mother on British Mother’s Day – which was on March 13 – so her first Mother’s Day will have brought three generations together in their luxurious shelter. Were they also together on May 6th, Archie’s birthday? The story doesn’t say.
