Meghan Markle and Harry back in England in December?

There is much speculation about Sussex’s plans for the festive season. While they were said to be ready to spend Christmas with a couple of friends in Los Angeles, Newsweek reveals that the couple may eventually return to England sooner than expected.

Like all families around the world, and especially this year with the Covid-19 pandemic, Sussex is starting to organise Christmas celebrations. Settled in Los Angeles for several months after their shattering departure from England, what are Meghan and Harry’s plans? As the Daily Mail revealed a few days ago, the Sussex family are planning to spend Christmas in the United States with David Foster, whom Prince Harry considers his second father, and his wife Katharine McPhee. But, as Newsweek has learned, the Sussex may well leave the United States very soon for England.

Meghan Markle is scheduled to testify in person in court on January 11th in her trial against the DailyMail. Covid-19 requires the Sussex to spend two weeks in isolation before attending the London High Court hearings. Meghan, Harry and little Archie would then arrive on British soil no later than 26 or 27 December if they wanted to finish their fortnight in time.

But according to a source who confided to Newsweek, the Sussex would have liked to return to England much earlier. “Without Covid and the travel restrictions, they would have been back in the UK by now,” the source said.
