During his speech at the Diana Awards, Prince Harry did not hesitate to mention his wife, Meghan Markle.
Prince Harry intends to honor his very controversial half in all circumstances. No matter that she decided not to accompany him to the United Kingdom for a tense reunion with the royal family, at the beginning of the summer. Always involved in the struggles led by his late mother, the Duke of Sussex made a virtual appearance noticed at the Diana Awards, a ceremony created in memory of Lady Diana rewarding social or humanitarian actions of people aged between 9 and 25 years.
A few hours before inaugurating with his brother William a statue of their mother, in Kensington Gardens, this July 1, the father of Archie and Lilibet Diana actually gave a speech of thanks, and wanted to associate Meghan Markle to his speech. “Meghan and I fundamentally believe that our world is on the cusp of change, real change for the good of all,” he said, before continuing, “The Covid-19 health crisis has revealed serious inequalities and imbalances in the world. We have seen the disproportionate impact of this pandemic on communities of color, on women and on less affluent countries.

Prince Harry also mentioned William, his older brother. “Later this week, my brother and I will be celebrating, together, what would have been our mother’s 60th birthday, and she would be so proud of all of you who live authentic lives with purpose and compassion for others.” Comments that follow several months of tension between the Duke of Sussex and the Duke of Cambridge. But it is clear that Prince Harry will always honor his wife, regardless of his different relationships with the British royal family.

I love the first picture of Harry and his wife. He has Swagger. I wish him and his brother all the luck in the world in binding together the relationship with his family. I hope, in the name of God; the family puts in just as much work as he.
