Victoria Beckham faced with a delicate choice

As Brooklyn Beckham is about to marry his fiancée Nicola Peltz, a question is on everyone’s lips. Who will Victoria Beckham, the mother of the future husband, choose to invite to the wedding? Meghan Markle and Prince Harry or Kate Middleton and Prince William?

Victoria Beckham’s choice is one of the most complex. While she is looking forward to the future wedding of her son Brooklyn Beckham to his fiancée, the American actress and heiress Nicola Peltz, the guest list is a real headache, as The Tatler reports.

The cause? The delicate question of the British royal family and the couples that the Beckhams must invite to the wedding. For months, the quarrel between Sussex and Cambridge has been a matter of public record. It is therefore impossible to bring them together at the same event at the risk of causing discomfort.

The last time the Fab Four were seen together was last March in Westminster at the Commonwealth ceremony. The faces were tense, and the atmosphere was deleterious. There was no way Victoria Beckham would repeat the experience and risk spoiling her son’s ceremony.

Victoria Beckham is considered a close friend of Meghan Markle. The couple attended their royal wedding in May 2018 in St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. As proof of the bond between them, the Duchess of Sussex regularly wears the designer’s designs in public.

But Victoria Beckham is also clearly a historical friend of the British Royal Family and the couple formed by Kate Middleton and Prince William. In 2011, the ex-Spice girl proudly sat on her husband’s arm at their historic wedding at Westminster Abbey in London.

An option being considered

The fact remains that the marriage between Brooklyn Beckham and his fiancée is not expected to take place until 2022. Due to the health crisis, the couple preferred not to take any risks and postpone the wedding. By then, the Fab Four may have made peace.

Another possible option. Two ceremonies would be planned by the Beckham clan. A first part would be held in Florida and a second ceremony would be held in the Cotswolds to meet the needs of both families. The occasion for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to be invited on the American side, and the English campaign would be reserved for Kate Middleton and Prince William . A choice which could prove to be judicious.
