This eye movement technique is designed to repair deep wounds by releasing buried thoughts and emotions. “EDMR is something I’ve always wanted to try and it was one of the healing techniques I was willing to experiment with. I never would have been open to it if I hadn’t done the work and therapy I’ve done over the years,” Prince Harry admitted. If he agreed to have the session filmed, it is also to encourage people who are in the same situation as him to follow, them too, a therapy. It was his wife Meghan Markle, who encouraged him, four years ago, to consult professionals after a “violent argument”, because she was tired of him “behaving like a 12 year old child.
