Prince Harry knows he has made mistakes, but is no longer afraid to be himself

Prince Harry, who is launching a documentary series on mental health and emotional well-being, seems to have acknowledged “mistakes” in his royal journey, but now settled in California, he reportedly feels better than ever, away from the demands of the Crown.

Since leaving the United Kingdom for the United States, Prince Harry is reportedly feeling much better. According to his friend Bryony Gordon, who spoke to The Telegraph, Meghan Markle’s husband feels “spiritually at home” in California, where he has officially moved. Bryony Gordon, a British journalist and author, knows the Duke of Sussex well: she had interviewed him in 2017 about his mental health problems for her podcast Mad World.

Prince Harry, who now lives in a mansion after leaving his public and royal duties, has found “meaning in his life” in the United States, according to Bryony Godon. “He knows he’s made mistakes – who among us hasn’t? – but he now sees that the most effective way to live is the truth and not just through the expectations of others,” she adds. It was that acceptance that freed him, in many ways,” she says. Now Prince Harry “no longer lives in fear of the repercussions of existing as himself,” she says.

There is power in vulnerability

The comments of the journalist and friend of the Duke of Sussex come as he said that “most of us carry some form of trauma, loss or unresolved grief. In promoting his upcoming series on mental health to be broadcast on Apple TV+, The Me You Can’t See proclaimed that despite titles or appearances, “we are all human. Princess Diana’s youngest son is co-creator and executive director of the program, which will be presented by American Oprah Winfrey.

According to Bryony Gordon, sources close to Prince Harry have said that the documentary series is “the result of the Duke’s efforts to broaden his perspective. And that should be the case since the interviews planned for The Me You Can’t See are further away from British royalty than ever. Singer Lady Gaga, actress Glenn Close and American basketball player Langston Galloway will be coming to “lift the veil” on mental health and emotional well-being. The Duke of Sussex said the project shows that there is “power in vulnerability.
