Pince Harry and Meghan Markle : This incredible hand out from Queen Elizabeth II for her Jubilee

0

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are invited to appear on the balcony of Buckingham Palace with the entire royal family. This is for Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee this June.

The Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II is scheduled for next June. It is a long weekend of 4 days that will be enjoyed by all the British people. Moreover, the dates of June 2 to June 5, 2022 have been decreed as public holidays by the government. This is so that the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee can be celebrated in a proper way. Of course, all members of the Royal Family will be present. In fact, even Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been invited to make an appearance on the Buckingham Palace balcony, according to Royal Stories.

It was members of the Buckingham Palace staff who revealed this invitation from the Queen to the Telegraph. Except that this invitation is likely to be rejected, according to the media. Indeed, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are currently in the Netherlands for the Invictus Games. They made a surprise visit to the Queen before embarking on the Netherlands. Although they plan to return by the end of the week, the chances of them making the trip to the UK are very slim. Note that it has been two years since Meghan Markle, 40, had come to Europe. As for Prince Harry, he made an express trip to the country for the funeral of Prince Philip in April 2021. Then he made another trip to unveil a statue of his mother in Kensington last July.

The only public event allowed in Sussex

The parents of little Archie and Lilibet will certainly not be present in the balcony for the event, says Royal Stories. It is not only the distance that separates the United States from England that may pose a problem. Indeed, “this appearance is the only public event to which the couple could be invited, since it is no longer an effective member of the royal family,” says the media.

Note that various celebrations are planned during this Jubilee. Some celebrations will be reserved for active members of the Royal Family, such as the Trooping the Colour parade.
