In an interview with activist Patrick Hutchinson, Prince Harry made it clear that he had not received a perfect edition because he had not been told about the existence of racism. A tackle addressed to the royal family!
Described by the palace and not his family members, Prince Harry subtly retaliated in a surprise interview. The man who gave up his royal duties last January spoke from his Californian home on Sunday 26 November during a conversation with activist Patrick Hutchinson at a GQ Heroes conference, as reported in the Daily Mail.
Asked about racism, a subject that comes up a lot in the media, especially since the death of George Floyd following a police check, Harry admitted that he didn’t think racism existed… because of his upbringing!
Between two sentences, the person who shares Meghan Markle’s life insinuated that he had received a bad education from his family, which had not made him aware of the issue of racism in the world. “I didn’t know there was racist prejudice until I met my wife,” he said.
“My upbringing didn’t allow me to understand this problem.” He added that from now on, he was well aware of the world around him: “Once you realize that it exists, you have to educate yourself and understand that ignorance is no longer an excuse.”

Meghan victim of racism within the palace itself
It was at the side of his wife, Meghan, that the brother of the future king of England became aware that racism existed, unfortunately. The young woman was attacked on her skin color, compared to a monkey, and had to put up with reflections from members of the palace.
Omid Scobie, author of the book Finding Freedom about Meghan and Harry, revealed that racist reflections against the pretty brunette were made by collaborators of Queen Elizabeth II .
