According to the British press, the birth of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s second child could happen any day now. The couple had announced that the baby girl should join their family in the summer.
They had announced a birth by summer, but the stork could be a little early for the Sussexes. According to the English press this Monday, May 31, Meghan Markle and Harry’s daughter could be born in “the next few weeks”, or “any day now” for the most optimistic, as the Daily Beast. As revealed in a newsletter dedicated to the royal family the week of May 25, Archie’s little sister could defy the calendar, reigniting questions about the due date: “The Royalist has always been told that summer starts in June, but we’re also hearing rumors that the baby was due a little earlier than that, which leads us to believe that the answer is ‘any day now.'” So the countdown has begun.
The announcement of this second pregnancy of the Sussexes had been made on Valentine’s Day, and the couple had specified a few weeks later that this child would be a baby girl. This pregnancy had prevented the 39-year-old from accompanying her husband to the funeral of Prince Philip on April 17. Doctors had indeed advised Meghan Markle not to fly, to preserve the unborn child. The former actress had already suffered a miscarriage in July 2020, and the couple has been since the beginning of this second pregnancy “very careful”.
Where will the delivery take place?
It remains to be seen in which hospital Meghan Markle will choose to give birth. Our source confided that the choice could stop on the maternity hospital of Cedars Sinai, in Los Angeles: “There is a lot of speculation about where Harry and Meghan’s daughter could be born. Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles has one of the best maternity facilities in the country.” The device referred to by our source has already been tested by no less than Kim Kardashian, Beyoncé, or Victoria Beckham, and would cost the modest sum of about 3,200 euros per night. The child would be the first among the great-grandchildren of Queen Elizabeth II not to be born on Albion soil.
