One day, the Duchess of Sussex made a notable appearance at the Wimbledon tournament alongside two of her best friends. She wore her newest jewel: a necklace in homage to her son Archie.
On May 6th, the world was moved to witness the announcement of Archie’s birth, the first child of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were very reserved about their private lives, and quickly made it known that they wished to protect their son (as much as possible) from the media coverage he would inevitably receive.
However, they did not fail to show their happiness as young parents each time they went out. While Prince Harry has become accustomed to mentioning his son in some of his speeches, Meghan Markle has chosen to adopt a symbolic jewel in homage to her son.
A NECKLACE IN HOMAGE TO ARCHIE
On Thursday, July 4th, the Duchess of Sussex made a surprise appearance at the Wimbledon tournament. What was the cause? She was wearing a very fine gold necklace with an A-shaped pendant. An obvious nod to her son Archie, which her admirers immediately noticed.
The jewellery is signed by the American designer Jennifer Meyer, who is particularly appreciated by Meghan Markle. Last March, when she was seven months pregnant, she was already wearing a necklace with the symbolic inscription: “Mummy”. Also designed by Jennifer Meyer, the jewel was apparently given to her by her close friends at her baby shower last February.
