Meghan Markle made a video appearance in the final of America’s Got Talent on Wednesday, September 23, 2020. It was an opportunity for Sussex fans to get a glimpse of their new interior at their stunning Montecito property in the United States.
With each of her appearances, the look of Meghan Makle is scrutinized under a magnifying glass. Not this time. On the occasion of the final of America’s Got Talent, the Duchess of Sussex made a surprise appearance this Wednesday, September 23rd to support a candidate live from her living room.
And her fans were numerous to detail, not the ex-actress’ style of dress, but her new interior, as reported by our colleagues of the Tatler, while Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have just moved into their new property in Santa Barbara in the United States.
In this video, little Archie’s mother appears in an elegant and comfortable room, decorated in neutral tones where many personal objects are exposed. Meghan Markle is sitting on a large cream sofa, surrounded by elegant cushions.
Behind her, paintings are suspended: a triptych of black and white works, which seem to represent birds’ nests, bushes, or is it abstract art? Under the painting on the left is a sublime green hydrangea and a collection of candles. Surprise: one of them is French, signed Diptyque, which smells like tuberose. A brand very appreciated by the Duchess of Sussex who had already chosen it to perfume the aisles of the church during her wedding with Prince Harry?
Books… but no photo
On the sideboard, many thick books are carefully stacked. The most curious have noticed a book on interior decoration, another by the famous Danish fashion photographer Marc Hom, but also a volume entitled The black godfather dedicated to the music director Clarence Avant who founded Sussex Records.
There is also a volume of National Geographic entitled Women and a book by the American photographer Annie Leibovitz. A tastefully decorated interior, which should nevertheless somewhat disappoint the fans of the Sussex couple… No family photos, not even a snapshot of Archie, 16 months old, who must have grown up a lot since his last public appearance!
