Estranged from his daughter for three years, the father of the Duchess of Sussex has once again tried to make amends … A few days after the birth of his second grandchild, the little Lilibet Diana, he gave an interview that may not please the wife of Prince Harry. To 60 Minutes Australia, he explained that he learned that Meghan Markle had given birth “on the radio”. “I will be very disappointed not to be able to hold my granddaughter in my arms,” he continued before brandishing a totally disgusting threat: “You want dirty laundry?” A new exit that is therefore unlikely to calm the tensions between Meghan Markle and her father, who clearly threatens her … Still on the occasion of this interview, Thomas Markle explained what put a definitive end to his relationship with his daughter.
As a reminder, Meghan Markle cut ties with her father after he was caught staging paparazzi shots before her royal wedding to Prince Harry in 2018. According to Thomas Markle, it would only be a “stupid mistake” on his part: “I have not spoken to Meghan for two days before the start of the wedding”. And this is not likely to get better. During her interview with Oprah Winfrey in March, the Duchess of Sussex had mentioned her conflict with her father: “We called my father and I asked him if he had organized the fake paparazzo. He said, ‘No, absolutely not!’ I said, ‘I need you to tell me the truth, and if you tell me the truth we can help you.’ But he wasn’t able to do that. And that resonated with me, especially as a mother.”
Could Meghan Markle forgive her father?
So their relationship is at a standstill. “As things stand, it seems unlikely that the grandfather will meet his new granddaughter for some time,” assured a Crown expert. Perhaps in due course he will meet her, but for the time being the couple will not give her priority for obvious reasons.” But Meghan Markle does not seem ready to forgive him his many mistakes. Especially since he multiplies the desperate calls for a few months. “It was two years ago. I tried to make it up to her. I am 110 kilometers from her home. I never stopped loving her,” he said on Good Morning Britain last March. I don’t agree with everything my kids do, but I will always love them. And I love Meghan.”
I think it is up to Meghan and Harry whether the grandfather sees his grand daughter.

Since he doesn’t have the decency to speak a kind word to or about the only decent child he has but can go traipsing around the world 🌎 still acting a fool he has not gained the right to see either of Meghan’s children ever. What parent in his/her right mind would threaten to air dirty laundry about his child trying to force her into contacting him? Is he that stupid? He hasn’t been in contact with her for years before her marriage. Lied to her just before the marriage. HAS spent all his time disrespecting her, allowing his other children to do the same and still has the nerve to try badmouth & blackmail her? But because she won’t acknowledge his ignorance, she gets accused of abandoning him?
Meaghan your father is forgetting you have two children Archie and now Lilibet . You are there mother and Harry there father , your father does not have a decent past ,my father did the same thing when my sister had children .If you love someone you don’t make threats to get something and don’t let him threaten
