Is the hatchet on the way to being buried between the two sisters-in-law? It is no secret that Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle have never been presented as the best of friends. During the shock interview with Oprah Winfrey, the American actress had claimed that Kate had made her cry during the preparations for the wedding in 2018. If the latter apologized, the tensions remained palpable.
And the Megxit has obviously not helped matters. However, the latest revelations of a royal source to US Weekly magazine may change the game. It seems that the wives of Prince William and Harry are slowly but surely moving towards reconciliation. “They have been exchanging texts regularly since the birth of Lilibet Diana, admits the source close to the Royal family. Tensions have eased between Kate and Meghan.”
Things are then gradually returning to order. Happy to be an aunt again, Kate Middleton even sent a gift to Lilibet Diana. A nice attention confirmed by a second source in Us Weekly, June 30, 2021. “Kate is reaching out to Meghan much more since Lilibet was born. She sends notes and gifts and tries to build a relationship.” Small gestures that make all the difference.So everything suggests that the origin of their feud would be only one of the consequences of the falling out between their spouses.
