Through a video call, Prince Harry was able to celebrate his thirty-sixth birthday with Elizabeth II and Prince Charles. While little Archie was the center of attention and grew up well, it was the absence of William and Kate that must have deeply saddened Meghan Markle’s husband.
The Megxit will have been the reason for their relationship… On Tuesday, September 15, 2020, Prince Harry celebrated his thirty-sixth birthday. While he now lives in the United States, it is thanks to the Zoom application that he was able to receive a video call from his grandmother, Elizabeth II and his father, Prince Charles.
If Prince Harry was the star of the day and blew out the candles on the cake prepared by his wife, Meghan Markle, his son, Archie, clearly stole the show! A source told the British website The Sun: “It was very enjoyable. Harry told the family how much he missed them. Meghan baked a cake and Harry blew out candles. Archie made them laugh when he blew out candles too.”
During this video call, little Archie called Prince Charles “daddy” or grandpa. The little boy who celebrated his first birthday in May 2020 is starting to speak and pronounce his first words. According to US Weekly, Archie has been talking for a few months and can say words such as “Daddy”, “Mommy”, “Book” and “Dog”.
If the little boy was present for Prince Harry’s birthday, Prince Wiliam and Kate Middleton were absent, raising fears that they may still be in conflict. One source said, “William sent his best birthday wishes. He had an excuse for his absence. But it was a bit embarrassing that William and Kate were not there.” On Prince Harry’s birthday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited an employment agency and a bakery.
Is a reconciliation between Harry and William possible?
The rift between Prince William and his brother would have widened in July when Finding Freedom, an explosive biography written with the approval of the Sussex was published. The latter claims that Kate Middleton’s husband would have called Meghan Markle a snob.
A relative said, “The boys love each other and there will always be a close bond. It’s just been difficult lately. It’s too bad William couldn’t be there for this call.” However, the Cambridge boys wished Prince Harry a happy birthday on social networks and would have chatted with him privately.
When Archie steals the spotlight from Harry
William and Harry “love each other and will always be connected to each other even though it has been difficult lately,” he says. Despite this absence, Harry was thrilled to see his family. “It was very nice (…) Meghan had made a cake and he blew out the candles” as well as Archie who was apparently the real star of this call.
The little boy, now sixteen months old, literally melted his audience when he mumbled the word “pa”, close to “grandpa” (grandfather). All’s well that ends well!
