Meghan Markle and Prince Harry make it a point to keep their children away from public life. The proof is, five months after the birth of Lilibet Diana, the face of the little girl remains a mystery. Nevertheless, on the set of Ellen DeGeneres, Thursday, November 18, the Duchess of Sussex has made a break with her principles, the time to reveal an adorable picture of Archie. Two years old, the great-grandson of the Queen of England appears from behind, wearing rubber boots. In his parents’ backyard in Montecito, California, the little boy is enjoying feeding the chickens, rescued from the slaughterhouse and collected by Meghan and Harry.
This is the first time since his last birthday, on May 6, that the eldest of the Sussexes appears in the public eye. Usually very discreet about her private life, Meghan Markle allowed herself a few confidences about her children: “Someone told Harry and me that when you have a child, it is a hobby, and two children is to be a parent. All of a sudden, we realized that everyone was talking about what it was like to have the second child, but no one was talking about how the first child was adjusting when the second child came along.” According to her, Archie is a great big brother to Lilibet Diana, and loves to dance. As for the youngest, she “sleeps well, but is teething.” Behind the celebrity, the former Suits star leads the life of a mom, quite ordinary: “I am up most of the night.”

Installed under the sun of California since their departure from the United Kingdom, the couple seems to run happy days. Harry in particular. “He loves it. We moved here during the lockdown so everything was closed, so we were able to spend time at home, create our new home, it’s a lifestyle and the weather is wonderful. We’re just happy,” she confided. The lovers are so comfortable in the family home, they plan to stay there. Meghan Markle, who loves to cook, is already enjoying imagining the Thanksgiving meal the four of them will have.
