Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s surprise visit to the Queen: This other member of the Royal family they met

0

Back in the UK, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry met with several members of the British Royal family. Among them, a meeting heavy with meaning for the Duke of Sussex.

Meghan and Harry are back on British soil! The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are traveling in the United Kingdom. A discreet escapade that has however leaked to the press. Who did the couple visit? Meghan and Harry reportedly secretly met with Prince Charles. According to reports, the couple was en route to the official residence of the Queen, Windsor Castle, to meet Elizabeth II, but also the Prince of Wales and his wife, Camilla Parker Bowles. The opportunity to reconnect, after the break between father and son, when Prince Harry decided to move across the Atlantic, far from his own.

And relations are likely to be still tense. And for good reason: the publication of the memoirs of Prince Harry will certainly reveal information that Charles would have preferred to keep secret. Family stories that will make the headlines, a bad advertisement for the British monarchy.

The return of Meghan and Harry, two years later

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were seen walking towards Windsor Castle on Thursday, under the amazed eyes of passers-by. For the returns are rare since their great turn. On January 8, 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their decision to step back as senior members of the British royal family and become financially independent.

If the brother of Prince William returned to the United Kingdom during the funeral of his grandfather, Prince Philip and during the unveiling of a statue of Lady Diana in the gardens of Kensington Palace, his wife had not set foot there for a little over two years!
