According to our sources, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been very generous to a family that has just lost their little boy aged 9 years.

The loss of a child is undoubtedly the most terrible tragedy that parents can live … this Monday, July 25, the British tabloid The Mirror reported that Meghan Markle and her husband Prince Harry, parents of little Archie (3 years) and Lilibet (1 year), have made a substantial donation to the family Zaijfen, who resides in Los Angeles and whose son George, 9 years, has just died suddenly. According to our press, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have transferred $5,000 (4,800 euros) to the GoFundMe online fund created by Kate Jefferson, a friend of the grieving parents, to finance George’s funeral and provide “the Zaijfen family with everything they need.

This generous gesture from Meghan and Harry was made on behalf of Archie and Lilibet. No one knows how the Sussexes know the Zaijfens, but it should be noted that the ex-husband of the Suits actress, Trevor Engelson, as well as his current wife Tracey Kurland, have also donated to the pot, amounting to $ 1,000 (978 euros). For now, the amount collected is 40 000 dollars (39 140 euros). A beautiful sum which will not be enough to calm the pain of the bruised parents.

“You were the sun of my life”: the heartbreaking words of a mother in mourning

Kelly McKee Zaijfen, 42-year-old former model and mother of little George, announced the heartbreaking death of her son this Friday, July 22, on his Instagram account. “My dear little boy. My world is shattered into a million pieces. I barely have the ability to breathe. To walk. To sit. To stand up. You were the sunshine of my life. Your smile made the room so bright and your heart was the purest and sweetest of them all,” the devastated mother wrote in the caption accompanying a snapshot from the family’s photo albums, featuring George’s twin sister Lily.

“You left this earth and left behind so many people who loved you. I don’t know how I can go on. How I can live. How I can find the light and feel joy again, but I will try. With all my strength for your wonderful twin sister,” continued Kelly McKee Zaijfen. And to conclude with these few heartbreaking words, “I could never understand what happened.” On the fundraiser, the family friend noted that George was “the happiest child who ever walked the planet”: “Kelly and Julian (the father editor’s note) are two of the most generous and philanthropic beings who exist, and it is now up to us to return the favor,” she urged.
