Queen Elizabeth II is going to make an announcement that is going to make a lot of noise. Her Majesty is going to ask Meghan and Harry to give up their patronage as representatives of the royal family.
A happy news… and a slap in the face! While Meghan Markle and Harry have just announced that they were expecting their second child, the American press reported that the couple had recorded a television show with Oprah Winfrey.
The famous hostess, who is also their neighbor in Santa Barbara, thus collected their so much awaited confidences whereas the Sussex have been very discreet for one year. Embarrassed by this approach, Queen Elizabeth II made a big decision.
According to the information from our sources, Her Majesty will ask them to abandon all the patronage they were providing as representatives of the royal family. And this announcement could come at the end of March, for the first anniversary of the Megxit. Little Archie’s father should be deprived of his three remaining honorary military titles and his patronages with the Rugby Football Union, the Rugby Football League and the London Marathon.
For her part, the woman who played in the Suits series should resign from her position as patroness of the National Theater. When she was appointed to this position in 2019, it was seen as a gesture of support and affection from Queen Elizabeth II, and for good reason, she had been its patron for 45 years.
A long-awaited interview
One source described the interview as “an inevitable and unfortunate consequence of Megxit”. The 90-minute interview will air on CBS on March 7 and will be in two parts. The first part will revolve around Meghan who will talk about her arrival in the life of the prince, her motherhood and the media pressure.
She will then be joined by Harry and together they will talk about their new life in the United States and their projects. It remains to be seen how the royal family will react and if this will not rekindle tensions between Harry and his brother, Prince William.
